First Annual ACSLHE AWARDS

Nominations now open through Monday January 22nd, 2024 midnight!

To be presented at the annual ACSLHE conference, this year in February 2024 in Los Angeles, CA.


We all know colleagues doing incredible, meaningful, and impactful work on campuses across the country. It’s time we recognize and celebrate the many accomplishments. What better place to premiere awards than on a red carpet in L.A.! Nominate one or several deserving colleagues. We are seeking nominations for the awards listed below. Click on each for the awards description, criteria and nomination form.


Campus Recognition Award: Recognizes an ACSLHE institutional member campus that values religious identity and spiritual practice as a key part of the student experience.


Chaplain/Spiritual life Staff Member of the Year: Recognizes an ACSLHE endorsed/institutional member who has made a significant contribution to the field on campus and/or nationally.


Commitment to Social Transformation Award: Recognizes an initiative, ACSLHE endorsed/institutional member or institutional member campus for their significant contribution at the intersection of religion/spirituality, social justice, equity and respect for humanity.


Innovation Award: Recognizes an ACSLHE endorsed/institutional member who has had significant impact on student/community engagement through innovation and creativity.


Lifetime Achievement Recognition: Presented to an ACSLHE institutional member with 15+ years of significant leadership and contributions on college/university campuses.


Multifaith Advocate Award: Nominated by an ACSLHE endorsed/institutional member, this award recognizes a chaplaincy and spiritual life partner for their advocacy for religion and spirituality as a critical piece of their work.


Student Leader Award: Nominated by an ACSLHE endorsed/institutional member, this award recognizes a student leader’s outstanding contributions to overall campus climate on religion and spirituality at an institutional member campus.
