Protestant Chaplain and Director, Genesee Area Campus Ministries (GACM)

Serving at the University of Rochester (UR) Interfaith Chapel

Genesee Area Campus Ministries seeks a Chaplain to lead the Protestant Chapel Community (PCC), a mainline Protestant student led community that welcomes all who come to worship, serve and support one another.  The Chaplain has additional institutional roles in cooperating with other UR chaplains, crisis intervention and occasional ceremonial services on campus. (80%) As Director of GACM, the Chaplain serves the GACM Board, manages fund raising efforts with six sponsoring denominations, local churches, alumni and friends, and submits annual grant applications. (20%) Employed by GACM, this is a full time, 10 month position.  Candidates must be ordained or eligible for ordination and privilege of call in one of the GACM partner denominations: American Baptist Churches, ELCA, Episcopal Church, PC(USA), UCC or United Methodist.  Submit letters of interest, resume, sermon link and contact information for three professional references to Rev.
